ISHA begon als 7-jarig meisje al met experimenteren met muziekinstrumenten en begon te producen in haar tienerjaren. De electronic scene gaf haar een platform om te creëren, met invloeden die ze haalde uit 70’s en 80’s funk, hip-hop en jazz. De muziek van ISHA kan worden omschreven als frisse funkbeats met een rare-groove uitstraling, gekenmerkt door sterke baslijnen.
De nu 22-jarige ISHA, net afgestudeerd aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam, heeft begin dit jaar haar debuut EP Bending Colours uitgebracht bij UK label Juicebox Records, waarmee zij o.a. support kreeg van Radio BBC 1Xtra, Foundation FM, Soho Radio, Clash Magazine en Spotify playlists zoals “Fresh Finds Jazz” en “Next Wave Soul”. Momenteel is ze veel studiosessies aan het doen met artiesten uit de UK zoals onder andere Franc Moody, Blue Lab Beats en Ruby Francis, en werkt ze richting haar tweede EP voor later dit jaar.
In maart dit jaar opende ISHA in Paradiso voor UK-act Franc Moody met haar spiksplinternieuwe live solo set-up waarin ze o.a. keys, bass, synths en haar looping station speelt.

ISHA's music can be described as fresh funk beats with a rare-groove appeal, characterized by strong basslines.
Now 22 years old and a recent graduate from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, ISHA released her debut EP "Bending Colours" earlier this year on the UK label Juicebox Records. Her work gained support from Radio BBC 1Xtra, Foundation FM, Soho Radio, Clash Magazine, and Spotify playlists like "Fresh Finds Jazz" and "Next Wave Soul." Currently, she's involved in various studio sessions with UK artists including Franc Moody, Blue Lab Beats, and Ruby Francis, working towards her second EP slated for later this year.
In March of this year, ISHA opened for the UK act Franc Moody at Paradiso with her brand-new live solo setup, where she plays keys, bass, synths, and her looping station.
